GLOSSOP North End’s reward for beating Biddulph Victoria in the FA Vase last Saturday is a home tie in the third round.

Steve Young’s men, who saw off their Midlands opponents 4-0 at Surrey Street, have again been drawn at home, this time against Winterton Rangers.

The Scunthorpe-based side are the Northern Counties East League champions and will provide a tough test for the Hillmen when the pair meet on December 6.

As well as a place in round four and the last 32, the winners of the game stand to collect £1,300 prize money.

Before that game though, the Hillmen have two difficult away games as they travel to Runcorn Linnets on Saturday before visiting Newcastle Town next Tuesday.
