Glossop's Mountain Rescue team called out three times on Saturday night

Glossop's Mountain Rescue team was called out three times on Saturday night.

The first call came at 5pm when paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service needed help getting to a woman in the Doctors Gate area who had suffered lower leg injuries.

While team members were working that, they received a call to a couple who had become stranded in fog on Torside clough.

A party was dispatched to Torside visitors' car park where the couple were found after managing to find their own way off the hill.

Shortly after this, two passers-by told the police that they had seen man with an ankle injury who was stuck in the Bleaklow Head area.

The team dispatched a small party to the area but couldn't find anything.
