DETECTIVES are appealing for information after an arson attack at a house in Blackburn.
Police were called around 6.30am on Saturday 23 January, after the front door of an address on Zion Road, Blackburn was set on fire.
The resident, a 32-year-old man, was able to quickly put the fire out before it caused any significant damage and no one was injured.
This followed an earlier incident around 5am where two of the lounge windows were smashed.
An investigation is underway and police are appealing to anyone who saw what happened or who saw anything suspicious in the area to come forward. Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles in the area around 5am or 6.30am and are appealing for them to come forward.
