A man has been charged following an assault on two police officers.

Sheni-Karamzadeh Arman, aged 33 of Brentwood Court, Prestwich, has been charged with indecent assault, common assault and two counts of police assault.

He is due to appear before magistrates in Tameside 3 February 2010.

On 21 January 2010, two officers attended to a report of an indecent assault on a 31-year-old woman at a flat on Brentwood Court.

Officers struggled with a man, who threatened them with a knife, forcing them to back away. A male officer was injured to his right shoulder and suffered facial cuts, and a female officer suffered back and neck injuries.
