The National Asian Business Association is kicking off a series of events with a networking evening in Manchester next month.
The organisation, which is in its early stages of development, is inviting Asian businesspeople in the region to share their ideas and opinions about what they would like to see in a national membership organisation.
The ‘Building a National Asian Business Association’ event is supported by Santander and similar events will be held in Leeds, Newcastle and London.
Uday Dholakia, chairman of the association, said: “The British Asian business community is a mature and integral driver of the British economy.
“Their aspiration to build a national voice for Asian business in the UK has received over whelming support up and down the country.
“We are now embarking on a series of meetings to engage with the Asian business communities throughout the UK and would actively welcome businesses from the Manchester region along to our event to hear more about our plans.”
The networking evening will take place at Swadesh Restaurant on Portland Street on Monday, October 3. Contact events@nabauk.org for more information.
