CHURCH-based firm Adrac has been awarded the accolade of East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year.

Adrac, based on Bridge Street, is a leading Internet marketing agency.

The award was presented when some of Lancashire’s finest businesses came together at the dazzling president’s awards dinner to celebrate and honour the area’s most successful businesses at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Clayton-le-Moors recently.

Judges praised the company, which has premises in Europe and Asia, for its "young, dynamic and innovative approach’’ and its "enviable client list of international brands’’.

The award was presented by sponsor Ashton Hoyle of Ashton Hoyle IFA.

Chamber president John Getty said: "This achievement just shows what talent and determination Pennine Lancashire businesses have.

"I would like to congratulate the company and the people who work there for working to make our area’s economy great."
