Conservatives in Hyndburn have nominated Karen Buckley as their prospective parliamentary candidate for the General Election.
The Fylde borough councillor, 42, was selected on the first ballot after local party members heard from six approved candidates, at Oswaldtwistle Social Club.
She is a solicitor specialising in Family Law who is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Advanced Legal Practice in Matrimonial Law.

I wont have a big team to get around the electorate and I wont have a rich party to back me up as i am paying my costs out of my own pocket. we dont make false promises and we are honest as to what we can achieve for the area. we have not forgot from where we came and our principals are deeper than our pockets.
